Below you will see a selection of questions and answers. These are some of the questions I am asked most often and I believe it is really important to be up front and honest about every step of the process. If you still have any lingering questions after reading this and all of the other information about my approach to wedding photography, please get in touch.

All of my collections include your own password protected web gallery, where you can view, share and order prints of all your favourite images from any internet browser.

As explained on my documentary wedding photography page, I understand that formal photographs are important to a lot of couples and their family members. I always work with my couples to create a formal shot list before the big day. I often find that my story telling approach to weddings is what attracted my clients in the first place, so they prefer not to spend hours on formal photographs.

If the location is less than a 50 mile round trip from my base in Weymouth, then the travel is included in the price. Further mileage will be charged at 50p per mile. For venues outside of Dorset, an additional fee for overnight accommodation may be required. For international travel, both accommodation and airline expenses will be required. This will be calculated and included in the quote provided to you.

I most certainly am. In order to operate my business I am required to have both Public Liability & Professional Indemnity insurance.

I always post a couple of pictures on my Facebook page on the day after the wedding, but your main password protected web gallery will be available around 6 weeks after your wedding day. If you need a few sample images to use for thank you notes etc before your gallery is available, that will be no problem at all.

Each and every wedding is different, but for full day coverage I usually deliver between 400 and 500 photographs.

I have spent many years developing my photographic style which is reflected in my post processing techniques. I like my photographs to look natural and timeless, so heavy amounts of retouching is not my style. For digital files, I make standard adjustments to every single photograph which includes colour toning, straightening/cropping and sharpening. Advanced retouching (blemish removal and light skin softening) is available on digital prints for an additional fee. If you decide to purchase an album or piece of wall art through me, the chosen images will undergo complimentary advanced retouching prior to printing.

The digital collection includes two copies of your photographs, one for use on the web and one to use for printing small to medium sized prints (up to 10 x 8 inch). If you wish to purchase the full resolution images, they are available for an additional fee. Please note: the album and family collections already include the full resolution files for no additional fee.
